MANCHESTER, NH) - State Rep. Peter Sullivan today challenged Congressman Jeb Bradley and State Rep. Jim Craig to return campaign contributions from members of Congress who have been accused of unethical conduct.

"Corruption and complacency have become a way of life in Washington . As a result, critical national needs take a back seat to influence peddling and special interest whims.

"Jeb Bradley and Jim Craig have accepted campaign cash from politicians who are prime examples of what is wrong with Washington politics. People like Roy Blunt and Mike Capuano have shown a blatant disregard for open and accountable government. If we are to take either of them seriously as public servants, Jeb and Jim need to return their tainted dollars immediately".

Jeb Bradley has received $15,000 from Rely On Your Beliefs PAC, a committee headed by Rep. Roy Blunt (R-MO). Blunt has been criticized by watchdog groups for inserting language into legislation in order to benefit clients of his girlfriend and his son, both of whom are lobbyists. He has been called one of the "most corrupt members of Congress" by the non-partisan Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington .

Jim Craig has received $2,100 from the campaign committee of Rep. Michael Capuano (D-MA) and an additional $2,100 from Mass PAC a political action committee controlled by Capuano.

While I regret to do so, I am asking my fellow Democrats to not vote for Red Wheeler for Hillsborough County Sheriff.

Red Wheeler is the candidate of right wing activist Joe Kelly Levasseur. Levasseur has been aiding Wheeler in filing a series of nuisance motions against the incumbent sheriff in an effort to draw attention to the campaign.

I learned the hard way that you can't dance with someone like Joe Kelly. He is as disreputable an individual you will find in Manchester politics, and that says a lot.

Levasseur has smeared Kathy Sullivan on numerous occasion, and attacked her family members as well. He was reprimanded for outrageous behavior while a Manchester alderman. He was the driving force behind the Ray Buckley video fiasco last year.

Mr. Wheeler's decision to align himself with Joe Kelly Levasseur disqualifies him as a serious choice for the county's top law enforcement position.

The Express is a Jekyll & Hyde creature (0.00 / 0) The paper's publisher, Jody Reese, fancies himself the voice of the suave, artsy young professionals. Unfortunately, he's the cheapest guy on the planet. The previous city hall reporters, Jack Kenney, Jennifer Nickulas, and Dan Magazu, all bought into this silly notion called "getting paid". That's why Magazu bolted for the Fitchburg Sentinel & Enterprise, Nickulas is doing public relations work, and Kenney was let go.

Peter Sullivan defends pal Jennifer Peabody!

Alderman and Attorney Peter Sullivan defends disgraced former Ward Three school board member Jennifer Peabody. Peabody has been arrested for not showing up in court for non-payment of her Hesser College student loan. Peabody was arrested at her home address in Ward Twelve (Manchester) after she was forced to resign her seat for not living in the ward was voted to represent. Peabody was then arrested months later for possession of a controlled substance. Sullivan, who is a New Hampshire attorney and Ward Three alderman is very good friends with Peabody. Sullivan even has his law office above the same ill-reputed bar that Peabody is a bar tender at. Read what he posted at NHInsider about his friend Peabody.



”Jennifer Peabody has a signed lease agreement for a property on North River Rd. That is her legal residence. Her name appears on her boyfriend's lease because he was having difficulties with his finances at the time he moved in. Jen agreed to sign the lease to help him out. The fact that she spends the night at her boyfriend's apartment is none of your business, none of my business, and none of Scott Brook's business. Let's look at the real issue here. This residency issue is being stoked by a guy named Sean Downey. Downey is the former executive director of the Manchester City Democrats and a Ray Buckley protege. A few months ago, Downey was drinking at Raxx Billiards, where Jen works as a bartender. Downey became surly and obnoxious and showed signs of intoxication. Jen did what the law requires her to do, which was to cut him off and throw him out of the bar. Downey has had a hair across his ass about it ever since. Downey lost his job when the Chris Dodd campaign crashed and burned a few weeks ago. Apparently, he has a lot of free time on his hands, since he seems to have been stalking Jen, following her to her boyfriend's apartment. Downey also lives next door to Scott Brooks. I'll let you connect the dots there.This is nothing more than another example of the politics of personal destruction as practiced by the Ray Buckley clique. Actually, I'm more ticked off at Mike Lopez for speaking in favor of this than I am at Guinta for introducing it or Gatsas and Garrity for supporting it. Those guys are Republicans with their own ties to Gregg. Lopez should have shown some backbone.

Dear Peter,

John Melle has made a verbal and written complaint about an incident that happened between him and Peter Sullivan at the MCAM studio. The incident involved the tearing up of a newspaper handed to Mr. Sullivan by Mr. Melle. The board has reviewed the complaint and various e-mails between me and Peter Sullivan.

The executive board met on November 13th to discuss the matter. It was agreed that the incident was aggressive and not behavior that we want displayed at the studio.
The executive board unanimously voted to send you this letter of reprimand expressing our displeasure with what occurred. As a guest to the studio that day we would request that similar incidents be avoided. Any future incidents may result in your temporary or permanent expulsion from the studio.

Glenn, you invited Peter Sullivan to the studio as a guest and our rules state that as a producer you are responsible for your guests and your guest’s actions. The executive board does not believe you had anything to do with this incident however any future actions by your guests could result in sanctions against you as a producer.
